| Class Focus:
The focus for 2MG for their own actions, resulting from positive or unfavourable choices made. Using the "Virtues Project" (www.virtuesproject.com), such virtues as respect and self discipline can be taught to create culture of character. There will be a virtue of the month which the children will learn, and emphasis will be directed towards it. Listed below are the virtues that will be discussed this year. Trustworthiness, Caring, Empathy (Compassion), Courage, Tolerance (Acceptance), Ambition (Self Discipline), Responsibility, Citizenship (Unity) ,Fairness (Justice), Loyalty, Respect

Subjects: The students have already become fans of the North American author, Robert Munsch (www.robertmunsch.com) Please visit his website because you can hear him read his books online. 2MG have already enjoyed "Get out of Bed" and "Ribbon Rescue".

Class Events: By the end of the year, the 2MG class will become little Canadian Ambassadors. These students have been learning about different types of Canadian animals, geography, Traditions, and some Canadian lingo. They can tell you what a "loonie" is. |

information about 2BM:
We have 23 enthusiastic students in the 2GM classroom, 14 girls and 9 boys. The most important homework any student from 2GM can do is engage in meaningful reading. |
